Description:
Memantine Hydrochloride is a derivative of amantadine. Similar to amantadine, it inhibits enzyme N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors, that affects glutamate transmission. Memantine Hydrochloride is used in the treatment of mild to moderate dementia in Alzheimer`s disease. Memantine Hydrochloride is also used in the management of Parkinsonism and cerebral spasticity.
